HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN WORKWEAR OR OUTDOOR GARMENT?

STEP 1: Design the clothing you want to sell

PRACTICO provides 1-stop solution for Wholesale/Private Label Clothing Line and Custom Cut & Sew Clothing Line at small quantity. Please refer to STEP BY STEP GUIDELINE.

 

STEP 2: Order information

Provide your order information such as fit & style. If you don’t have your own data file, try to fill out our order form and specification sheet.

 

STEP 3: Styles

PRACTICO provides basic style sketches for you to add up your own ideas. Download the basic sketch and put some notes to show me the changes and requirements. We will come back to you with a professional sketch before PP sample. Of course, we always welcome your own sketch in any format!

 

STEP 4: Performance/Material/Quality

PRACTICO focuses on producing functional clothing for industry and outdoor users. Specifying the performance of the garment like what functions they carry is important. Some designers may overlook the technical functions when they pay too much attention on the appearance. We provide value added service like suggestions on fabric, accessories, technical construction and norm knowledge. 

We have sufficient stock for fabric and accessories to shorten the production lead time. You can refer to our running fabric list and key accessories list for easy combination. If you have specific requirement on material and trims, please send us picture and specification or a real sample for sourcing.

 

STEP:5 Quote & PP sample

Send your order form and specification details to our sales (sales@practicoworkwear.com)and we will come back to you with a quote estimation on FOB basis. If you want to proceed with PP sample, please specify style, size and quantity. Don’t forget to send us your delivery address/contact and courier selection (FEDEX/UPS/DHL/TNT/SF). PP sample order sheet and expected delivery time will be sent for your confirmation. Production will be arranged after payment received. 

 

STEP:6 Bulk order

Send your order form together with your confirmation of PP sample. We will estimate a delivery date and final cost with goods and shipment. Order will be activated once deposit received. Full payment is required before shipment. We can arrange semi-production inspection or pre-shipment sample before shipment.

Sometimes we receive enquiry with email without giving us enough data to move forward. Production is a very detail job and we cannot turn your design to a real clothes without these details. 

Don’t worry! We will help you to sort this out if you don’t have a standard document. Provide your order information such as fit & style. If you don’t have your own data file, try to fill out the order form and specification sheet attached. Files in your own format are always welcome.

A good garment salesman might not necessary be a designer himself. The only thing you got to know is where is your market and what your customers like. If you have a good sense in the market and you are capable to communicate the needs of your customer, we can help you to sort this out.

 

We have over 10,000 reference samples for workwear and outdoor gear. Here we provide basic style sketches so that you can simply edit your own garment with software or just print it out and mark some notes for us. Whether you are a professional designer or a normal salesman can work out your style in a few minutes!

 

Send us your sketch with requirements and we will come back to you with a production sketch before sampling.

Pockets are very important to create a functional clothing whether it is a workwear or an outdoor garment. Numbers and location of pockets or styles and sizing are all big issues whether your garment can sell or not. Nobody wants an oversized smartphone pockets or placing a pocket with no use! Here we provide some basic pockets for different zones for reference. Add the right pockets to our basic style sketch. Wow, a perfect garment is done! 

What are the biggest risks of not having material consumption planning? The biggest would be of course unable to fulfill contract duty to supply product to the customer at the agreed time. 

 

Many customized order customers are unable to commit the lowest purchasing quantity for purchasing fabric because you may have more than 3-7 fabrics in a garment or few color settings in one style. To solve the problem, we have a commonly used fabric stock shared with our customers especially for workwear garment. Some fabric even got more than 40 colors for your choice. You can easily mix and match to your corporate colors. 

 

Of course, you can also send us a reference quality swatch or a garment sample to develop your own fabric if you have enough time and order quantity. 

 

Attached below is our running stock list. You can send your style and fabric requirement, we can check it up for you. For high visibility workwear, please see our remarks for those got high-vis yellow, orange and red with EN20471 certification.

Below are some of the commonly used fabric card for your reference. You can ask for a new color if you can meet the minimum order quantity. If you want to have a quick delivery, select the fabric quality and check with us the fabric stock status will be the quickest way to proceed the order. 

Zippers are accessories attached to dresses, shoes, and bags, used as closures. Based on the application they are broadly categorized according to teeth material, zipper locks, sliders, closure type, etc. It’s not easy to tell what kind of zipper you want if you don’t have a sample on hand. Below are pictures of zipper types for your reference.

Buttons are small instruments used to fasten two parts of a garment. Good buttoning really contributes a lot to the overall quality. Nickel free, stainless, good workmanship…. All are important elements that makes the difference of quality.

Sewing or sticking reflective tape to your clothing makes you always highly visible in the dark or dim environment. Whether you know this product or not, you can see it everywhere. Construction workers, police, civil protectors, fire services, ambulance, airport staff, street cleaners are all equipped with high visibility clothing with reflective tapes.

 

We have various types of sewing tapes, heat transfer tapes and also flame retardant tapes in 3M, Sto-nor or China brands. Please refer to the reflective list below:

European Norms(EN) governs the CE certification of protective clothing. Below are the list with the EN norms description which help you to have a quick understanding of the law requirement.
